Struggles and expectations

Celebrities are expected to look, and behave a certain way and are always faced with challenges.

There behaviour has to be expectable all the time because they never know when they are going to be filmed or photographed. This is a huge struggle for celebrities because if they have a melt down towards someone people will criticize them and judge them without knowing the whole story.

Celebrities are also people's role models and are expected to set a good example. For example Miley Cyrus, you could argue Miley being a great role model or a horrible one as well. She could be a great role model because she is passionate about her music and does her own thing and doesn't care what anyone else think. She is also healthy and active and has a positive attitude towards her career. She could also be a horrible role model because she has inappropriate actions and is a bad influence on little kids, because of her transformation from Hannah Montana to Miley Cyrus the girl who is known for inappropriate behaviour. Either way her behaviour reflects on her and she is being judged for her positive and negative actions.

Everyone wants to be a celebrity but there are plenty of catches such as always being followed by the paparazzi and never having privacy. This can get extremely annoying when everywhere you look you see a camera flash and are being asked to take a picture with a die heart fan or being asked to sign your latest copy of your new record. Don't get me wrong there are tons of positives things about being a celebrity but like anything else there are always negatives.

In my opinion having the paparazzi follow you around every could get pretty annoying when all you want is to have a night to yourself or just to go to the movies with your friends. With the paparazzi always on your tail celebrities always have to look expectable which leads me into my next topic, appearance.

Appearance is a huge struggle in the celebrity world. They always have to have their hair done, make up on and have a nice "stylish" outfit on. The biggest factor is being in shape. Even though now a days we try to except everyone we still judge people especially celebrities. It is extremely important to celebrities that they don't gain weight or they watch their calories or always are on a diet and have to work out so they have a beautiful body with no lumps or curves. For female actors it's a little harder because fans or people expect female celebrities to always have their  hair neat and tidy to have their make up classy and done without any imperfections, and to have a stylish outfit that fits there tiny body. It is  a struggle for male celebrities to have a nice toned body, with a perfect six pack and strong muscles.

Living a celebrity life could be a dream but it could also be a nightmare.

Teenage Paparazzo

Teenage Paparazzo chronicles the relationship of a 14-year-old paparazzo Austin and actor Adrian Grenier. Grenier encountered Visschedyk one night and decided to follow him while searching for celebrities. Grenier had set himself a mission in getting to understand the world of the paparazzi. Austin has to be tutored and stays up late at night taking pictures and surfing the internet. During the day he is often called away to photograph celebrities, which he is successful at doing due to his young age and appearance. As the film progresses Grenier realizes his rather negative influence on Visschedyk's life. A year after initial production of the film ended, Austin's attitude and behavior has changed for the better. Grenier offers Austin a relationship stronger than the pap-celebrity one they have had. The film concludes with Austin telling Adrian to turn the camera off, which he subsequently does.

My reaction to this film

I was amazed by the passion of this kid at first and what he would sacrifice to get one picture of a celebrity but towards the end, I realized her just wanted fame for himself.  It was an interesting ending because Austin realized his craving for fame and how he was willing to do anything to get it and turned it around. I would recommend watching this film as it teaches the viewer a lesson on being a paparazzi and not letting fame get to your head.
